PAYMENT: The standard fee is $220 for the initial assessment and $180 per 53-minute session after that. Longer sessions may be scheduled as necessary. Black Hills Fireside Counseling, LLC accepts cash, check, and major credit cards. Black Hills Fireside Counseling, LLC is willing to operate on a sliding scale fee with individuals and families who are on a fixed income. The reduced rates will be agreed before counseling begins.

 

INSURANCE: Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

• What is my deductible and has it been met?

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

• Do I have a co-pay?

• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

• Do I need pre-authorization for my sessions to be covered?

 

Black Hills Fireside Counseling, LLC is an in-network provider with many insurance companies accepted, including Medicaid. Co-pay or co-insurance is due at the time of services unless agreement has been reached beforehand. We can discuss any questions or concerns you may have about payment.
